About the event
Charlie Fletcher is an Edinburgh-based screenwriter and novelist, who is probably best known for his Stoneheart trilogy. Whether set in Dickensian times or contemporary London, Fletcher's fantasy novels have proved a hit with their Children's and YA audiences.
But last year, Charlie turned his hand to writing for adults. Writing as C. A. Fletcher, his dystopian A Boy and his Dog at the End of the World was published by Orbit in April 2019.
We'll be chatting to Charlie about the differences between writing for children and adults, what he's working on in lockdown and why he chose to lay the world to ruins in 'A Boy and his Dog'.
All proceeds from this event will be donated to FareShare. FareShare are fighting hunger and food waste by redistributing surplus food to frontline charities. Last year they redistributed enough food for 36.7 million meals!
If you have a question for Charlie, you'll be able to submit it on the night, or head over to our Instagram account @GreenwichWriters and send us a direct message.
