Greenwich Writers' Group meet every second Wednesday for critique and every second Saturday for our group writing session. We welcome new members at both, but please remember that the Saturday sessions are designed to allow people time to write so they tend to be much quieter, though just as welcoming.
We regularly run a range of events from evenings with agents where you can book your own 1:1 pitching slot, talks from a diverse range of authors and we've even got a short self-editing course coming soon, courtesy of our friends at The Literary Consultancy.
Our meetings are now held at the Woolwich Equitable Pub in Woolwich towncentre opposite the train station. (Equitable House, General Gordon Square, Vincent Rd, London SE18 6AB). The food is wonderful and very reasonably priced and drinks are cheap too! Click on the link opposite and take a look.
We use MEETUP to organise our meets, so if you want to join us, please click on the link and book yoruself in. Current dates are listed below, as are other events we host.
“A writer should be joyous, an optimist . . . anything that implies rejection of life is
wrong for a writer.”
